Hemingway, who was born on July 21, 1899 in Idaho, USA, has published 10 novels, 10 stories and 5 non-fiction. Among them, 'Old Men and the Sea', 'A Farewell to the Arms' and 'The Sun Also Rises' are regarded as the most important works of world literature.

Hemingway, who saw death up close five times due to various accidents, managed to survive two plane crashes. Because of this, he had to suffer a lot in the latter part of his life. Hemingway eventually committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in 1961.
