Nepal has won the South Asian Regional Qualifying Tournament for Boys under ATF U-12 Team Tennis.
Nepal defeated Bhutan 3-0 in the league match of group 'B' consisting of four nations. Earlier, the Nepali team lost against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Nepal is out of the competition.
In the first singles, Nepal's world specialist Dallakoti defeated Dudu Tenzing 6-0, 6-3, Nischal Gyawali defeated Pelthop Chhiring 6-2, 6-3 in straight sets. -0, lost in a set of 6-2.
Pakistan beat Sri Lanka and India equally 3-0 against Bangladesh in the boys tournament organized by Nepal Tennis Association. In boys, the semi-final equation has been completed. In the semi-finals, India will meet Sri Lanka while Pakistan will face Bangladesh. Sri Lanka defeated Nepal 3-0 in the
girls. In singles, Liang Sanuthi Wong defeated Sara Pant of Nepal 6-0, 6-0 and Damsiluni Sahansha of Sri Lanka defeated Anushree Dhoju in straight sets 6-0, 6-1. In
doubles, Liang of Sri Lanka defeated the pair of Hewasam Pathiraja, Anushree and Ayusha Jisi in a set of 6-4, 6-3. This is Nepal's third consecutive defeat. Earlier, Nepal was defeated by Bangladesh and India.
