Nepal's Manita Shrestha is going to participate in the Asian Judo Championship to be held in Hong Kong. The competition will be held from April 20 to 24.
Jeevanram Shrestha, President of the Nepal Olympic Committee bid farewell to the Nepali team at a program held at Satdobato on Wednesday and wished them well for their good performance.
Deepakharsh Bajracharya, president of Nepal Judo Association, also participated on that occasion. The Nepali team is coached by Devu Thapa and the manager is the well-known Tamrakar. Manita will submit her challenge in the women's under 57 kg weight category. He is an Olympic scholarship player.
