Lamjung police have arrested 1 youth on the charge of trying to rape a twelve-year-old girl.
Police Inspector Thaneshwar Chapai, Information Officer of the District Police Office, said that Amrit Bahadur Adhikari, 32 of Rainas Municipality 8, was arrested. According to him, the young man was arrested on Wednesday and brought to the district police office, and on Thursday, the investigation is being conducted with permission from the district court for an extension of 7 days.
The young man has been accused of trying to force the girl on the chance that she was walking alone on the road around 8:30 on Monday, Chait 12th.
