Wagmati State Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel has said that technical education is the need of the moment.
He said this at a program organized by the Federation of Community School Management Committee in Makwanpur on Saturday. The Chief Minister emphasized that by improving the curriculum, students should be motivated to acquire theoretical knowledge and apply it in practice. Pointing out that there is now widespread dissatisfaction in the education sector, he said that practical education is necessary to stop the practice of going abroad after studying in Nepal.
Saying that the government is trying to end the quota system in the study of technical subjects, he urged the presidents of the school management committee and the principals to work so that the investment in health and education now pays off.
