Dadhiraj Subedi, a prominent writer of Biratnagar, passed away on Wednesday morning. 78-year-old Subedi was suffering from cancer for a long time.
Subedi has dozens of original works. Subedi, who edited more than one hundred and fifty books, played a role in the works of more than two hundred writers. His critical collection is included as a syllabus of various universities.
President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed grief over his death. Subedi's brother Dinesh Subedi said that there is a plan to cremate Subedi's body at Parapkar Ghat in Biratnagar on Wednesday.
