The Nepali short film 'Songs of Love and Hate' won the Special Jury Mention Award at the Berlin Film Festival. This film was selected for the Generation 14 Plus category of the world famous film festival and won a Special Mention.

Along with this, eight other awards were announced for Generation 14 Plus. The 17-minute film directed by Saurabh Ghimire tells the story of the breakup and subsequent journey of the love character, a presenter who gives love advice on the radio.

This film is director Saurabh's graduation project. Saurabh, who has a master's degree in directing from 'Luca School of Art' in Belgium, has made this film using the archive footage he has. This film is made in a different way from the traditional style of film making. The film was ready after about five months of work at the editing table. The film is produced by Mingso Limbu. Director Meen Bham, who reached Berlin with 'Shambala', is also another producer of the film.
