It has been found that the number of users of mobile data or broadband internet services in Nepal has increased by 2.3 lakhs in a period of eight months. According to the economic survey of the financial year 2080/81 published on Sunday, the number of data/internet service users was 421 million 18 thousand till February of the current year, while in June of the current year it was 398 million 8 thousand.
Received permission from Nepal Telecommunication Authority The number of people using data/internet services available through various service providers seems to have increased by 2 lakhs monthly . The number of data/internet users of Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited is 21.5 million 69 thousand till last February. Similarly, 78 lakh 91 thousand have used Ncell's data, while 126 lakh 59 thousand have taken internet service through various internet service providers, it is mentioned in the survey .
In June 2077, the number of data and internet service users was 222 million 38 thousand. In June 2078, 384,000 people used data/internet, and in June 2079, this number increased to 384,210,000. According to the Economic Survey 2080/81, the number of Internet service users in Nepal has almost doubled in the last five years. During this period, the number of data/internet users has increased by 198 million 80 thousand .
