Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD has become the first company to produce 7 million cars. BYD announced that it has achieved a historic achievement for the BYD brand by announcing the 'Denza N7' produced at the Jinan factory in China.
BYD, which entered the automotive industry in 2003, sold electric cars in 2008. BYD is now selling dozens of models. BYD produced one million vehicles in 2021. After that, it was tripled in 18 months. In the last 9 months, it has been able to produce 5 million and again 7 million in 7 months .
BYD's annual sales in 2023 reached more than 3 million and 20 thousand units and the company claims that it has succeeded in becoming the global leader in the electric vehicle market.
By exporting more than 240,000 units of cars in the international market, BYD has also become the top Chinese exporting company under electric vehicles. This number has increased by 337 percent in one year. Currently, BYD's electric passenger vehicles are being sold in 64 countries and regions of the world.
