Tulsi made 'Darpan Chhaya 2' after about 18 years as a sequel to the blockbuster movie 'Darpan Chhaya' released in 2001. However, Sahara Karki and Shraddha Prasai of 'Darpan Chhaya 2' are not known anywhere now.

"By the time of the film's release, the producers would have gone broke," said Tulsi, "after demanding it at such a time, it could not be completed." They put a lot of effort in writing that the film is bad.' Tulsi says that after that incident, the media is constantly harassing him. "I am having a conversation for the first time after a long time," he claimed with a laugh, "the film was made well, it was a victim of media propaganda."

'Darpan Chhaya 2' flopped, did Tulsi Ghimire escape from the cinema! There was also a market rumor. However, that rumor was just a rumor. "There are many noises in this land of noise," he protested with a long laugh. After the failure of 'Darpan Chhaya 2', he was forced to think to the extent of thinking, 'Are you going to make a film now?' However, he did not agree. He felt the power to die only by making some good films. Finally, he has re-emerged with renewed energy over the years. "My job is film making. I didn't know any other work, I didn't learn, I didn't even have time to learn,' he said in Darjeeling, 'How can you stay silent until your hands and feet move.'

Director Ghimire has been in Nepal since 1994. Sometimes Bombay and sometimes Kalebung keep repeating. He has made Nepal a career center for three decades and has contributed through films. His wish is to become an honorary citizen of Nepal. He says, "I think that I would have received an award as a citizen of Nepal."

Tulsi, who was born 73 years ago in the remote Sindevung village of Kalewung, when he was studying in class 7, there is an interesting story of Taka. After finishing school in the 1970s, he went to the neighboring state of Sikkim to work. The film production team called 'Romeo and Sikkim' came suddenly. From that team, he got the urge to enter films. Somehow he joined the team. At that time, Raj Kapoor was the talk of the town. He moved to the foreign city of Bombay (Mumbai) with the desire to be like the great actor Raj.

"When I entered the editing room, I realized that many techniques of the film," he recalled his time like a film reel and said, "After learning editing, I realized that I have done a very good job." One day, Patil went to Pune for a special job.

He is hungry after the man who feeds him leaves. He starved for three days. "From the second day, I stopped liking even water," he adds, who understands hunger closely, "It's like dying." Patil passed out on the fourth day. Standing at a paan shop in front of the office, he asked Tulsi, 'Khana nahi khaya hai kya?'

Tulsi said, 'Sir, I haven't eaten anything.'When asked how long it has been, Tulsi said, 'I have been hungry for three or four days.' was However, he has torn 120 Zarda paan and walked away saying 'God, he will not get food for another two/four days'. Tulsi's journey of struggle started from the rugged hills of Kalevung, continued to the glorious city of Bombay and Kathmandu. Tulsi says that it was the same struggle as before and now it is the same struggle. The hunger for filmmaking is still the same in him. He is not satisfied yet. "You should retire after complete satisfaction," says Tulsi, opening the door, "I don't want to retire."

He was learning editing with Guruji Patil. Film director Prakash Thapa suddenly arrived. Khas Thapa came to Bombay for the song recording of the film 'Sindoor'. He was a Bollywood actor. In the 1980s, musician Ranjit Gajmer was also struggling in Bombay. He had directly reached Bombay from Darjeeling via Kathmandu. Gajmer is known as one of the most prolific music composers in Bollywood. The meeting of Ghimire and Gajmer, who were struggling in different ways in film and music, gave birth to the musical film 'Bansuri' in 1981.

To fulfill Guruji's wishes, Tulsi was on the way back to Bombay after killing the bit of the 10th film 'Dakshina'. Veteran film directors like Prakash Thapa, Chetan Karki, Jitendra Mahat Abhilashi suggested to him, 'Now this is your society (Nepal). People who love you are here (in Nepal), don't go back to Bombay, stay here.'

"If I get an award, I think I would get it as a citizen of Nepal," says Tulsi, "I want to become an honorary citizen of Nepal." One day it will surely be fulfilled.'
