Police have arrested two youths in Salyan with drug brown sugar. Police arrested 20-year-old Pandav Giri of Chhatreswari Rural Municipality and 18-year-old Diplap Thapa of Sharda Municipality 2 with 60 milligrams of brown sugar.
While checking the vehicle on the Rapti highway in Kallekhola, the motorcycle number Ra 5 P 4990, which was going to Shankhamul from Lanti of Chhatreswari Rural Municipality 6 of the district, was stopped and the purses of Pandav Giri and Diplop Thapa who were riding on it were checked. District Police Office Salyan Information Officer and Police Spokesperson Police Inspector Bhawani Prasad Dhamala said.
Police inspector Dhamala informed that the motorcycle driven by the driver Giri was also taken into custody. According to him, both the arrested persons have been kept in the custody cell of the District Police Office Salyan by the District Court Salyan for four days in the drug case.
