2 people died and 4 people were injured in a jeep accident in Soru Rural Municipality of the district.
Chief District Officer Topendra KC informed that when the jeep number 02001J 0059 was going from Gamgarhi to Soru Tarapani in Karnali Province at a place called Kachche in Soru rural municipality, the driver Kaviraj Nepali and an unnamed woman died on the spot. He said, 'The jeep fell 100 meters down the road.' According to the chief district officer, 6 people were riding in the jeep.
According to the district administration office, security personnel have been sent from the district for rescue after receiving news of a jeep accident. 4 injured people are being brought to the district hospital for treatment.
