The police team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested an accused who was absconding after killing his friend 21 years ago and announced it through a press conference on Tuesday.
The arrested person is Tej Bahadur Rai, 41 years old, resident of Necha Salyan Rural Municipality-4, Solukhumbu, Information Officer of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police Nahkul Pokharel informed. According to him, this person was absconding after killing Sanjay Shahi in 2059.
Shahi was killed 21 years ago by Rai during a fight at an animal slaughterhouse in Inatol, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-19 Marudho, police said.
