An Indian citizen has been beaten to death after being abducted in Mayadevi Rural Municipality of the district. According to the police, 41-year-old Jamal Ahmed of Pokharbitwa, Bardpur, Siddharthnagar district, India, was killed.
Jamal was abducted by stopping at Bijuwa bridge while coming to Nepal on a motorcycle number UP 55 AH 2057 around 4 pm on Thursday.
He was tied and beaten to death in the room of Islahul Muslim Madrasa near Abhirabh village District Police Chief Superintendent Navratna Paudel said. 3 Nepali citizens have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the incident. The murdered body was found at 12 o'clock on Thursday night.
