The government of Wagmati province is now going to use Nepali, Tamang and Nepalese languages in government work. The meeting of the Provincial Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to fully implement the Act related to "Language of Provincial Government Work" from that day and on the same occasion, it was decided to declare a public holiday throughout the province.
Government Spokesman and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Ganganarayan Shrestha informed that in accordance with the law, the meeting decided to announce the beginning of the use of official language during a special ceremony in Vasantpur, Kathmandu, on 24th Baisakh, under the hospitality of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
According to him, with the implementation of the Act, three languages will be used on the signboard letterpads of government offices. The movement of Nepali, Tamang and Nepal language will now be at the state level. The meeting of the Council of Ministers has made 14 different decisions.
According to him, the meeting of the Council of Ministers is going to provide 500,000 to pay for the cost of opening the new office building of District Court Makwanpur, which must be used in the construction of government and community buildings or any kind of physical structure at the state level.
