Police on Friday arrested two persons with a large amount of undisclosed amount from a mall located in Adarsh Nagar of Birganj.
Birganj Municipal Corporation-6 According to the District Police Office, Parsa, two people were arrested with 2.2 million 5 thousand rupees from inside the Rungta Market located on Friday afternoon.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Kumar Vikram Thapa, the team of Ward Police Office Birta said that two persons were detained with 2.25 million rupees of unknown source.
On the basis of special information, the team led by Police Inspector Pushkar Bogti raided the IME inside the mall and arrested two people along with the money. Police did not reveal the identity of the arrested.
Thapa said that the identities of both of them are being kept under wraps as they are being interrogated further.
