Finance Minister Barshman Pun has formed a budget drafting committee. On Friday, Minister Pun formed a committee under the coordination of Dhaniram Sharma, joint secretary of the ministry, for writing the budget statement for the next financial year 081/82.
Joint secretaries Ritesh Kumar Shakya, Mahesh Acharya, Ram Prasad Acharya, Ishwari Aryal and Parvati Sharma are members of the formed committee. Sharma, Shakya, Acharyadway and Aryal are working in the Ministry of Finance, while Sharma is the Deputy Director General in the Internal Revenue Office.
committee coordinator Sharma said that the committee will start its work after holding a meeting on Saturday itself. "The work of writing the budget will be started immediately by coordinating with the relevant ministries," he said.
