India has become the champion in the ATF U-12 tennis team tournament, which is a South Asian regional qualifier. Indian players became winners in both boys/girls.
India defeated Pakistan 2-0 in the boys final of the tournament organized by the Nepal Tennis Association. In the girls' final, India won 2-0 over Sri Lanka. All four teams that reached the finals in Boys/Girls have been selected for the ATF U-12 Team Tennis Tournament to be held in September in Kazakhstan.
Nepal beat Maldives 2-1 in the girls' round robin league held on Friday at the tennis court in Satdobato and scored a consolation victory. The
winner was awarded by President of Nepal Tennis Association Jyoti Rana and others. 7 countries participated in boys and 5 countries participated in girls. This is the fourth time that Nepal has organized the competition.
