In Surnaya Rural Municipality-3 Dungri of Baitadi District, a fire broke out in a shed due to a short circuit. On Monday night, local Hikmat Airi's two-storied shed made of stone, mud and wood caught fire, police said.
According to the District Police Office, Baitadi, on Monday night, an electric wire shorted and a fire broke out in the shed, and one of the goats raised by Airi died. Due to the fire, materials such as wood and straw have been burnt.
Baitadi Police Spokesperson Balram Pandey informed that although there was no loss of life due to the fire, the loss was worth around 120,000. The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
