A person has been arrested on charges of murdering a friend in Sabhapokhari rural municipality 2. Police inspector Ramkumar Lamichhane informed that 26-year-old Sahansin Rai was arrested on the charge of killing 29-year-old Ravin Chamling Rai of Sabapokhari 2 Jamire.

On Friday night, during a dispute between them, Ravin was seriously injured by Sahansinko's sharp knife.

Police Inspector Lamichhane said that Ravin died during treatment on Saturday afternoon. District Police Office Sankhuwasabha informed that Sahansin has been detained and further investigation is being conducted on the charge of being involved in the murder.

As the seriously injured could not be treated at Sankhuwasabha district hospital in Rawin, the MP was taken to Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for further treatment.
