MP Pariyar's demand to broadcast Parliament meeting live in sign language

He said that thousands of deaf community of Nepal are deprived from the activities of the Parliament and immediately He demanded that the activities in the Parliament be kept as sign language interpreters. He demanded that sign language be arranged as the only basis for the deaf community to receive information. He mentioned that the Nepali deaf communities are alienated from all the actions taken in the Federal Parliament.

He said, 'Thousands of deaf communities live in Nepal. The only basis for that community to receive information is through sign language. Nepali deaf communities are alienated from all the actions taken in the Federal Parliament. Live broadcasting and recording of Parliament is not done in sign language. Policy makers are out of the activities in the parliament. Because of that, I request the government to keep a sign language interpreter in the Parliament.' He said that discussing the budget in the National Assembly has no fundamental meaning.

He said, 'The House of Representatives has passed the budget. But once again we have to discuss the budget in the National Assembly by spending the taxes raised by the poor people of the state. Which doesn't seem to have much meaning. There may be a process of parliamentary practice, it may be work, that is fine. But I don't think it is wise in any way to discuss the subject using state taxes without any justification.'
