The government has said that it will conduct 'non-resident Nepalese campaign' to attract investment from non-resident Nepalis. On Tuesday, Finance Minister Varshman Pun, while presenting the budget for the next financial year in the Parliament, said that the 'non-resident Nepali campaign' will be conducted in the place of birth to connect the capital, technology and skills of non-resident Nepalis with the motherland under the investment of foreign income in the country.

It is mentioned in the budget that the use of the NRN Development Fund established by non-resident Nepalis will be facilitated to promote more investment opportunities. Finance Minister Pun has called upon the descendants of non-resident Nepalis to visit the ancestral lands to familiarize themselves with the geography, art and culture of Nepal.
