CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has accused the Congress of trying to destroy the current power equation. Inaugurating the second Birtamod city convention in Jhapa on Sunday, he said that instability is continuing in the country.
General Secretary Pokharel said that the country is going through a state of political confusion and accused the Nepali Congress of creating obstacles in the parliament and destroying the power equation.
He said, 'The kind of instability that exists in the country today. There is political confusion. The way Nepali Congress is trying to obstruct the Parliament today. What is the reason behind that? If more instability is created than the equation can be destroyed. And once again, the Nepali Congress is holding the parliament hostage in the game that they can advance the politics of the alliance with their participation.'
General Secretary Pakharel said that the country needs political stability and said that CPN-UML has not gathered the power to provide political stability. He told the CPN-UML in Mission-084 that they should establish a strong decisive national power Rumpa.
