A stone fell on the excavator digging a drain on the road near Muglin Bazar on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section. According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the rescue operation is continuing after the incident which took place around 9 o'clock on Sunday morning.

Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Bhesraj Rizal said that the operator was also inside the excavator and he was being rescued.

There is preliminary information that while working on the road, a stone fell from above and damaged the machine and the operator is being rescued. Detailed information has not arrived," said DSP Rizal. The Divisional Road Office of Bharatpur has said that the road is operating one-way after the incident.
