During the eight months of the current financial year, 309 child rights committees have been formed and operated at the local level across the country.
According to the economic survey of the current financial year, published on Sunday, it is mentioned that 309 local child rights committees were formed and operated at the local level until last February. According to the
survey, only 303 child welfare officers have been appointed at the local level. Likewise, children's funds have been established at 246 local levels.
During this period, 373 local levels have formulated procedures related to child rights protection, enhancement and promotion.
