According to the spokesman of the committee, Nirga Navin, 16 people, including chairman Kushwaha, were arrested near Gate No. 3 of Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

When they were preparing to march in Baluwatar, the police surrounded them and arrested them, said spokesperson Naveen. Kushwaha is also the coordinator of the negotiation team with the government. Although there have been many talks with the government, no conclusion has been reached. Even though the government said that the problem would be solved, they arrived in Kathmandu on foot from different districts.
