102 people were arrested for doing unwanted activities on Holi, 750 vehicles were seized

On the day of Phagu Purnima (Holi) festival on Sunday, police said that 112 people were arrested from all over the country.
Spokesperson of Nepal Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal informed that the police have taken into custody those who forcefully paint, fight while drunk and make noise in public places.
This year's Fagu Poornima was relatively peaceful compared to last year. "There have been no major crimes," he said. The police also said that 775 vehicles were stopped for driving recklessly and violating traffic rules.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, 650 motorists/scooters have been held in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur alone. 15 vehicles are also on hold. SP of the office Awadhesh Bist said that those who are careless and drive the vehicle without measuring will be held up.
Similarly, the police have detained 70 people from Kathmandu, 4 from Bhaktapur and 2 from Lalitpur. Bista also said that the Phagu Poornima festival ended in a peaceful manner compared to previous years.
