More than 50,000 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine confirmed: BBC

According to the BBC, data collection was being done since February 2022. Since the start of the war, volunteers working for the BBC and MediaZone have been counting the number of new graves being dug in 70 cemeteries .

The number of Nepalis who were illegally recruited into the Russian army and killed in the war with Ukraine has reached 32. The government also does not have data on how many Nepalis have been recruited into the Russian army.

The Wagner group is known as a militant group that fights battles with strict discipline . The Wagner group was recruiting prison inmates until last February. But after the relationship with the Russian government deteriorated, the Russian Ministry of Defense stopped the recruitment to the army from the Wagner Group . The Wagner group also rebelled against the Russian army in June of last year. Wagner chief Prigogine was killed in a plane crash last August.

The BBC has also reported that when working with the Wagner group, the prisoners are usually contracted for 6 months. If they survived the battle of that period, they were set free . But last September, the Russian Defense Ministry ordered that the prisoners either fight until they die or the war ends. Either of these two options can come first .
