Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa has said that the law will apply if common people take 80,000 from cooperatives, but the law will not apply even if the 'big leader' of the new party cheats 800 crores.
Thapa, who arrived at Taulihawa in Kapilvastu on Friday during the Samvad Yatra, pointed to Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane in a program held at the party office and said that his party insists on an independent investigation into the cooperative scandal. But he said that it is not good for the Congress to remain silent on this matter.
Making it clear that the pre-election alliance has been confirmed to be wrong, Chief Minister Thapa emphasized that it is now necessary to strengthen the party. He said that by making a new law, the assets of people holding public office after 2046 should be investigated.
