Qatari Emir's visit to Nepal, security arrangements tight

In connection with his visit, various teams of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Nepal and National Investigation Department have been mobilized under the coordination of the Nepalese Army Commander. Various security arrangements have been made under the said structure.

According to the Nepali Army, the security system has been mobilized based on the needs of various programs and ceremonies from welcoming special guests to farewell. In connection with the Qatari Emir's visit, various preparatory meetings have also been held and responsibilities have been rearranged.

The security arrangement has been arranged according to the Special Person Peace and Security Management Procedure, 2077 issued by the government. Assistant Rathi Gaurav Kumar KC, spokesman of the Nepali Army, said that the security management has been tightened for the safety of special guests.

In view of the Qatari Emir's security arrangements, all other flights from Tribhuvan International Airport will be suspended for 15/15 minutes during his arrival and departure, Airport General Manager Jagannath Niraula informed.

It is believed that the visit of the Emir of Qatar from today will further enhance the relationship between the two countries. This is the first high-level visit from Middle East Asia to Nepal. The visit of the head of the important power of West Asia is viewed with importance . Qatar is an important country among Nepal's foreign labor destinations.
