The police arrested 16 people from the south gate of Singha Durbar who started protesting with various demands. Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari informed that they were arrested for protesting in the restricted area of Singhdarbar.
He said, 'We have arrested 16 protestors under the leadership of Milan Rai, the coordinator of the All Revolutionary Students' Organization, Avinash Kunwar, the office member of the Revolutionary Youth Organization of Nepal, and Harikrishna Gajurel, a member of the party secretariat, in the restricted area of Singh Darbar.
Spokesperson said that they were kept in Singha Darbar police circle.
