Voting in the by-election held in Bajhang State Assembly Constituency No. 1 has ended. The District Election Office has informed that the preliminary information of 29 thousand 738 votes has been received and the details of some polling stations are yet to come.
According to the information received, 48.16 percent votes have fallen. District Election Officer Man Bahadur Dhami said that this number can reach around 50 percent after receiving the details of all centers.
He said that polling officers were busy with the safe transportation of ballot boxes and that telephone contact could not be made in some places, so it would take some time to get all the details.
The voting time was given from 7 am to 5 pm on Saturday.
