Royal Cup won the first Valley Public SEE Cup boys futsal tournament on Sunday.

Royal beat Dragon Elite FC 3-2 and Samriddhi 10-2 at the host Valley Public School's futsal court.

In other matches Jugal Nav Gurukul beat Cypress 9-4, Tokha FC beat Team Beast 3-1, Down Town beat Insight Vision 'B' 5-4, The Seven Bros beat Cypress 4-1, Vidya Arjan beat Valley Public 'B' 7 -2, Dragon Elite defeated Valley Public 'B' 5-3 and Sacred Heart defeated Valley Public 'A' 4-1. Mahesh Adhikari, head of administration of Valley Public, inaugurated the

competition. In the tournament, 18 teams are competing on a league-come-knockout basis. The winner will receive a cash prize of 20,000 and the runner-up will receive 10,000. Apart from the cash prize, each player of the winning team will get 60% scholarship, runner-up 30% and participants will also get 10% scholarship. The final will be held on Tuesday.
