A teacher has been arrested for sexually abusing a girl in Manhari Rural Municipality-3 of Makwanpur.
Dinesh Upreti, a teacher of Mahendra Jyoti Secondary School, was arrested by the police on Monday for sexually abusing a female student whom he was teaching. Inspector Prakash Shah of District Police Office Makwanpur informed that the arrested victim is being investigated in the court.
Makwanpur police said that the victim was arrested after the victim filed a complaint saying that the teacher was sexually abused. According to District Police Office Makwanpur, 14 child sexual incidents have occurred in the district in 11 months of the current year, while 50 cases of forced labor and 6 cases of forced labor industry have occurred during this period.
