Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma has said that no one can be above the constitution and the law in a republican governance system.
On the occasion of Republic Day-2081, Minister Sharma, while inaugurating the photo exhibition titled 'Achievements of the Republic: Infrastructure for Prosperity' organized by the National News Committee on Thursday, said that no matter how high a person is, everyone is equal in the eyes of the Constitution and the law, and the government is implementing the law accordingly.
'When Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal was being appointed, a kind of negative commentary was created that the republic could not do anything. As the government has worked firmly in favor of social justice, prosperity and good governance, the government has been successful in eradicating negative comments in favor of order and change,' Minister Sharma, who is also the spokesperson of the Government of Nepal, said, 'We have also succeeded in achieving qualitative achievements in the field of information and communication.'
Clarifying that the country is making leaps and bounds in infrastructure development and if there is any shortcoming during the exercise, the guilty party will be the relevant person but there will be no republican system.
After the establishment of the Republic, Minister Sharma said that there is a need to propagate the fact that there have been significant achievements in the fields of infrastructure, education, health, information technology, etc., and convey positive feelings to the new generation.
