Only 76,736 foreign tourists have entered Nepal in June 2024. According to the information provided by the Nepal Tourism Board, quoting the Immigration Department, more than 4,000 tourists entered Nepal in June this year compared to June 2023. In June 2023, 72,250 tourists entered Nepal.
Indian tourists are more among the tourists entering Nepal. Director of Nepal Tourism Board Maniraj Lamichhane informed that 37,835 tourists entered Nepal from India in June. Similarly, eight thousand two hundred and eighty one tourists from America and seven thousand four hundred and ninety four tourists from China have entered Nepal in the second place.
3857 people from Bangladesh, 1969 from Britain, 1589 from Australia, 1066 from Bhutan, 114 from Malaysia, 953 from Japan and 875 from South Korea have been reported by the Tourism Board. ;
Before the corona epidemic, 74 thousand eight hundred and 83 foreign tourists came to Nepal in June 2019. Since the beginning of 2024, five lakh 83 thousand 16 tourists have entered Nepal.
