Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that it is better to take political risks for the national interest and for the communist movement. Dahal, who is also the chairman of the Maoist Center, said that all political parties should come together for the unity of the communist movement.
Addressing the program organized by 'Nar Bahadur Karmacharya Memorial Foundation' on Monday, Dahal said that uniting the communists is necessary for the future political struggle of the country, the republic.
He recalled the unity of the left in the year 2074 and said that efforts should be continued for good work. It is better to take risks for national unity, for national independence, for the unity of the left, to take risks for the better future of the communist movement. We should all support and cooperate in that," he said.
Dahal recalled that the people and workers approved the experiment between UML and Maoists in the 2074 elections.
'That was the use of unity and it was approved by the people and common leaders and workers. We could not save it due to various reasons. However, once it becomes impossible, we should not give up trying to do the right thing. We have to keep trying continuously,' said Dahal, 'that's why even now we have no alternative to socialism even for the issue of national independence, its strengthening, strengthening democracy and solving the daily problems of the people. Socialism is the path of future revolution. It is necessary to go to some form of cooperation and some form of unity.'
The Prime Minister said that Karmacharya, who is constantly working for the country and the people, is the political guardian of the country.
