The Nepali team has reached the semi-finals of the U-19 Girls' Team event of the South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship.
In the tournament being held in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Nepal defeated Maldives 3-2.
According to table tennis head coach Rajendra Kapali, Nepal defeated Maldives 3-0 in the U-19 boys team event.
Nepal was defeated in the U-15 boys/girls team event. In both, Nepal lost the match against India by 3-0.
