Salin Pokharel death case: Order to release the arrested teacher on bail

After a case of incitement to suicide was registered in the Chitwan district court regarding the student Salin Pokharel, who was found dead in the dormitory of Ekta Shishu Niket Boarding School in Ratnagar, the court has ordered the release of the three arrested teachers on bail.
Chitwan police arrested the principal of the school Balhari Devkota, assistant principal Kamal Sharma Paudel and another teacher in charge of the hostel Kiran Bahadur Adhikari on February 15.
Judge Ramesh Prasad Gyawali informed that Paudel and Adhikari should be released on a bond of Rs 55 lakh and Principal Devkot on a bond of Rs 3 lakh in the Chitwan district court on Tuesday. On February 12th, Salin's body was found hanging from the fan in the dormitory room of the school. Salin's parents filed a complaint with the Chitwan police saying that the death was not natural and that it was a murder after rape.
Salin's post-mortem was also not done in Chitwan, but at the University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu Maharajgunj. The post-mortem report received by the Chitwan police stated that she died by hanging and there was no sign of rape. Similarly, on the basis of other tests and research reports, a case was filed in the Chitwan District Court on Sunday for inciting suicide.
