One person died on Sunday after being hit by a branch that fell while felling a tree.
According to the police, 32-year-old Lok Narayan Shrestha of Ward No. 5, Silame, was hit by a branch that fell while felling a chilaun tree in the forest of Ghagar Thakur Community Forest Group located in Tintale Pakha of Kamalamai Municipality-1.
DSP Chiranjeevi Dahal of Sindhuli Police informed that Shrestha died on the spot when a branch hit him on the head while felling a tree under the contract of community forest.
