One person died when a bus and a truck collided at Jalbire on the Chitwan-Narayangadh Muglin road around 3:30 last night. Chitwan District Police Office Spokesperson DSP Sriram Bhandari said that the person who passed away was 35-year-old Gauri Das from Bharat Motihari.
DSP Bhandari said that he was a passenger of bus No. G 1 B 8524 coming from Rautahat Gaur to Pokhara.
Chitwan police said that the bus collided with the truck No. 6 B 3580 which was stopped on the roadside at Jalbire in Ichchakamana rural municipality-6.
DSP Bhandari said that the slave, who was seriously injured due to the collision, died on the way while being brought for treatment. Four others are injured. The condition of three persons is moderate and one is normal. The police have arrested the driver of the bus
