A two-and-a-half-year-old girl died on Sunday in Tinpatan rural municipality-8 of Sindhuli after drowning in the water stored for use in the toilet.
Anisha, daughter of Tank Bahadur Magar of Mahabhirdanda, who is two and a half years old, drowned in the water kept in the toilet in a plastic drum behind her house, police said.
According to police spokesperson DSP Chiranjeevi Dahal, the girl who was found drowned in a plastic drum was taken to Lampantar Health The doctor declared him dead after taking the post. The police said that the incident is being investigated.
