An unknown group targeted a telecom tower at BP Park in Dumjadanda of Sunkoshi rural municipality-1 of Sindhuli and detonated a cooker bomb on Friday morning.
The police said that due to the explosion, there was minor damage to the building of the telecom tower inside the BP Park. As soon as the information about the sound of explosion was received, the police arrived from Kusheshwar Dumja Chowki.
According to Sindhuli police spokesperson and DSP Chiranjeevi Dahal, a cooker bomb exploded in the window of the telecom tower building. The police recovered two bottles smelling like a cooker hood and petrol. The police said that leaflets of the Jan Mukti Sena were also found at the place of the explosion and the search for those involved in the explosion is underway.
