The APF Club of the Armed Police Force has won the title of the 7th Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial National Women's Volleyball Tournament.

In the final held at the National Sports Council's Covered Hall in Tripureshwar, APF became the champion by winning 3-0 in straight sets over the divisional rival Nepal Police Club.

APF is also the former runner-up in the competition organized by Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Foundation. APF this time defeated Police in straight sets 25-22, 26-24 and 25-19 in the final. Rima Kunwar of New Diamond became the player of the match. New Diamond received Rs 125,000 and Army received Rs 62,500 cash prize. APF's Nirutha Thagunna was the best player.

For that, she received a prize of 50,000 cash. Lakshmi Chand of Police was the best spiker, Kavita Bhatt of APF was the best server, Sumitra Regmi of New Diamond was the best blocker, Jasna Mahato of APF was the best setter, Shantikala Tamang of Police was the best libero. Mahesh Chaudhary of APF was selected as the best coach. All the best received 25,000 cash prizes.

The winner was awarded by Provincial Sports Development Council, Member Secretary of Bagmati Province, Suryalal Bhandari, President of Nepal Volleyball Association, Jitendra Bahadur Chand, Patron of the organizing institute, Gamali Khadka, etc.
