Portugal clinched the Euro 2024 quarter-finals after dramatically defeating Slovenia in a tiebreaker on Monday. After the match ended in a goalless draw, the match went to a penalty shootout. Portugal won 3-0.
Cristiano Ronaldo missed a goal from the penalty in extra time . But he managed to score in the tiebreaker.
Goalkeeper Diego Costa was the hero of this victory of Portugal . He saved all three penalty goals and Bernardo Silva scored the decisive goal for Portugal. Now Portugal will face France in the last eight match on Friday.
