In the 148th Inter-Legislative Union Assembly, he asked about the diplomacy of parliaments, what can be done for peace and progress with diplomacy in the current situation? How to work to develop harmony and peace? What is the significance of this? He said that the discussion was based on that topic.

The delegation led by Speaker Ghimire left for that place on March 8th to participate in the General Assembly held at the head office of the association from March 10th to March 14th. In the General Assembly, Speaker Ghimire gave a speech on behalf of the Federal Parliament on the topic of 'Parliamentary Diplomacy: Building Bridges for Peace and Understanding'.

Chief whips of parliamentary parties along with Speaker Ghimire, Nepali Congress's Ramesh Ukhar, Nepal Communist Party (UML)'s Mahesh Kumar Bertaula, Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) Hitraj Pandey and Rashtriya Swatantra Party's Santosh Pariyar participated in the General Assembly. Similarly, National Assembly Member Gangakumari Belbase, Federal Parliament Secretariat Spokesperson Ekram Giri, Deputy Secretary Pradeep Guragai and Tejprakash Bhattarai, Chief Personal Secretary of the Speaker, participated.
