The construction of five-star 'Ramini' hotel in Bardibas of Mahottari has started. President Shambhu Ghimire informed that the construction of a five-star hotel has started with the aim of supporting the tourism development of Bardibas.
'The hotel will be built in the next two to two and a half years', President Ghimire said, 'After the construction of the hotel Preparations are being made to bring an international chain hotel from India for management and operation.'
A total of one billion 10 million rupees will be invested in the hotel to be built on a total area of one bigha. In which 60 percent of the bank's loan will be President Ghimire informed. 7/7 weeks will be built in two buildings. There will be 82 rooms . There will be deluxe and sweet as well as two presidential suite rooms. Chairman Ghimire informed that all facilities available in a five-star hotel such as casino, swimming pool, wellness etc. will be available. According to
President Ghimire, the construction of the hotel has been started with the aim of connecting Lord Ram's birthplace Ayodhya and Mother Sita's birthplace Janakpur through tourism. After the construction of the hotel, it is expected to have a positive impact not only in Bardibas but also in the tourism sector of Janakpur and Ayodhya, he said. 
'Ramini is also another name of Mother Sita, we have planned to connect Ayodhya and Janakpur, the center of faith of Hindus, after the construction of the hotel, it will be marketed and promoted accordingly', he said . Shreya Pandey, the manager of
hotel, said that the construction of the hotel has been started with the aim of providing the facilities of a well-equipped hotel in Bardibas. She mentioned that the main markets of India including Darbanda and Sitamadi from Bardibas have been targeted.
'Our plan is to provide a luxurious hotel experience in Bardibas, apart from that, we have also targeted the Indian market in Janakpur and neighboring countries, which are 25 km away', she said. According to her, discussions are currently being held with various hotel brands in India and it will be finalized in the near future.
