Chairman of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed the party leaders and workers to join in the relief and rescue of those affected by the fire. On Friday, President Deuba, issuing a statement, has directed the fire victims in Mahottari, Khotang, Baglung, Parbat, Gulmi, Dolpa and other districts to be involved in rescue, relief and proper accommodation management.
President Deuba also expressed grief over the death of some people and hundreds of people injured due to fire in different districts of the country.
Similarly, he expressed sympathy from the party and personally to the family members who lost their homes and property due to the fire. "While paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the fire, I wish for the eternal peace of the departed soul and express my condolences to the bereaved family. Also, I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured,' the statement said.
Chairman Deuba also demanded from the government to provide proper treatment for those injured due to fire and immediate relief, compensation and accommodation for the homeless families.
