After Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post and left the country, Army Chief General Waqer-Uz-Zaman has announced that an interim government will be formed with the participation of all parties.
After fruitful discussions with all political parties, we have decided to form an interim government. We will now talk to President Mohammad Shahbuddin so that the situation can be resolved," he said.
