Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevanram Shrestha was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) on Sunday.
Similarly, he has also been elected as the chairman of the Sports and Environment Committee of OCA.
OCA's 44th General Assembly held at Bharat Mandap in the Indian capital of New Delhi, Chairman Shrestha was elected as a member of the Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Sports and Environment Committee.
In the meeting, Nilendraraj Shrestha, Secretary General of the Nepal Olympic Committee, played a role as a member of the election committee of the general meeting.
